Magic of Music


Music improves your health and wellbeing. A study from Harvard has shown that relaxing music may lower blood pressure and heart rate after physical exertion. It can also improve mood and reduce anxiety and through bringing people together, can be an antidote to loneliness and social isolation. 


In a digital age where many services and products are instantly available with the click of a button, learning a musical instrument provides a platform for people to achieve through discipline and perseverance. There are many skills required in order to learn how to play a musical instrument: technique; reading music; expression; listening; and as you continue to perfect these skills, you build resilience.


Playing piano has also been shown to be a great source of stress relief, and provides ample opportunities to bolster self-esteemAmong all the beneifts -- Improved multitasking ability is one of the great cognitive benefits of piano playing. As you learn more complex pieces, you'll become better at balancing all the different tasks involved in piano playing. Before you know it, you'll be playing your favourite songs without even ing trying!


Music performance


 Students will learn performance pieces every semester, and perform in front of audience during recitals. Through the process students will gain self-confidence, pride, and ownership of their instruments, as well as valuable experience that will help them develop important life skills.

Music Theory

Learning music theory allows musicians to recognize patterns in music and become fluent readers of notated music. By understanding the structure and form of the music they're performing, they can access harmonic memory and recount large sections of music from memory. Improve improvisational skills.

Music History

For both performers and listeners, another reason to know the history of music is because it brings music alive and makes it more meaningful. History can be a way of imagining what it must have been like to be a person living in a certain place and time, with experiences in some ways very different from our own.

Collaborative Piano

Collaborative piano is a discipline of music that combines piano performance, accompanist, and music pedagogy. Student will learn 4 hand pieces when they choose, or learn how to collaborate with instructor while both are playing different parts at the same time.

The primary benefit of playing 4 hands piano/duets is that they allow students to model technique and musicianship without using words and without having to stop playing. Modeling tone quality, vibrato, rhythmic integrity, intonation, and non-verbal gestures can all be done while playing duets.  

Piano Technique

Having good technique on the piano means that you will progress faster through your study. With your professional teacher's instructions, you will be less prone to injury because you will be more relaxed and your hands will be stronger, you will be able to learn more difficult and complex music, and you will look like you know what you are doing!

Song Writing

Writing simple music is one of the most human and emotionally revealing things a person can do, and so inspiring! This is because songs contain human stories through the arrangement of sounds. Songwriting can help reveal the humanity in yourself, keep students especially young students memorize notes and interested. 

Music Therapy

Music therapy is the use of music to accomplish individualized goals such as reducing stress, improving mood and self-expression. During lessons, teacher will help you adjusting your body, hand position, and the way of using your fingers, arms, body, as well as communication, enjoy relaxing music and set goals based on your experience.
